Evans, of Dunedin, are at the Grand Hotel. j It is stated that Mr. David MvDougall, ■Mayor of Gore, will asain seek Parliamentary honours at the forthcoming election. j The Hon. G. J. Anderson, Minister of Mines and Labour, returned to Auckland on Saturday from the Thames district. J The Minister left for Wellington la-st night. Mr. T. W. Rapley. g-er.eral manager !of the Xew Zealand of the Australian Provincial Assurance Association. 13 j arriving by the Main Trunk express 1 from Wellington to-morrow, and will be staying at the Orand Hotel. j Mr. TV. Wallace, oh airman of the [Auckland Hospital Board, with Mr. C I Knight. Dr. C. E. Ma<ruire. and Mr. H. A!Somerrille (thp secretary*, is at present !in Wr-llington to attend the Hospital Board's Conference. J Their Excellencies the Govp-rnor-Gen-|eral and the Viscountess .Tellii-np are at 'present the quests of Mr. and Mrs. ; Charles Elga'r at Ferneide. Featherston, i-where they will sppnd a few days before j going on to Pahiatua. and thence to the East Coast. Sir Henry Barwell, the South Australian Premier, who was a through passenger by the Makura, spent a busy morning in Auckland on Saturday receiving callers and paying visit*. " The Premier also visited points of interest during his short stay in the city.
