EGYPT'S LASCARS IN BOMBAY
A QUALIFIED DENIAL. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, June IS. A hundred Lascars, stewards in tha Egypt's crew, have arrived in Bombay. They emphatically deny that they fought with knives and revolvers to enter the boats. They admit that when the passengers were taking to the boats some of the crew entered too, but they declare that they had no revolvers.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
