The tourl nament committee arranged for 14 to be played for the final, in which the game was interestingly and strenuously contest, d, great entl-wsiasm being manifested as tl-ft game proceeded by the unsuccessful aspirants. When the thirteenth head was reached Otahuhu was one up on the board. Through a line drive by S. Harper on the fourteenth head Otahuhu was laying two. but Hills, Onehunga's skip, drew the shot dead, makina a draw, which necessitated another head to lie played. The tie resulted in Otahuhu winning by a measure. Hills (Onehunga) drew the shot, but the bowl fell backwards. Otahnhn thus winning the first prize anil Onehunga the second. REMUERA GREEN.
