(To the Kdilor.i Sir.—Tlio householders of Kowhai School district fully reeogniie the merits of thf> proposed now system of education and approve of the main Kowhai School being taken from them for tho purpose. but they strongly object to the infmt school also being taken from them. The resolution whih was passed .-t the meet ing of householders in the Empire Theatre was a very long one. the last paragraph of which was: —"Further that the department allow tie use of Kowhai building on the south for tho use of infants of the Kowhai School district, ■which shall not extend beyond the south side of New North Road or west of; Dominion Road, and that, the additional land extending to Onslow Road shall at once be purchased for the extension of extra junior high school biiildin?* will ll shall be proceeded with forthwith."
