STATE MIDWIFERY EXAMS.

The following candidates were successful in passing the State midwifery examination held on May 31 and June 1:— Passed First.—Newth, Maud (R.N.), St. /Helens Hospital, Wellington. Passed with 90 per cent or over. —• Burgess, Martha (R.N.), St. Helens Hospital, Wellington; Clark, Blanche (R.N.), Alexandra Home, Wellington; Randall, Jessie (R.N.), Waikari Hospital; Lundon, Annie S. (R.N.), Batchelor Hospital, Dunedin; Gunn, Grace M. (R.N.), I Wairau Maternity Hospital; Brown, '.Margaret, St. Helens Hospital, Dunedin. Those who passed with 75 per cent or I over included the following of special iuterest to our readers:—Dorothy Barj ker, May Sine Nelson, Annie G.
