POLICE COURT.

(Before Mr. J. W. Poynton, S.M.) IN DOUBTFUL COMPANY. A youth of nineteen atlmitted the theft of a dinghy from the beach ac l'onson>by. He was in company with a young man named lnkster, who had invited him to spend a week-end on a yacht, and. ho said, at In'ksters suggestion they wont fram tne yacht to the beach and took a dinghy they founa there. Robert Coleord, was charged ■ with the theft of a bankbook belong- : ing to Alexander Rea, and with the forging and uttering of two withdrawal ' slips of C 3 on Hea's Post Oflice Savings 1 Bank account.
