Accused was represented by Mr. A. B. Siovwri<?ht. \ ' Inspector Rawlinson stated that on March 2 lie entered Phillips' sh-on. following a little pirl. who was tal-ivg a billy for milk. There was milk in the shop, but the woman liad taken the jrirl'e hilly into the back of the shop. Suspcctinjr that there was adulterated, milk there he followed, and found a p"il of milk and a billy of milk there, whirli she was about to pour away. A strugglej for the milk ensued.
