WEEK-END FIRES.

CAR AND CYCLE DAMAGED. About 9.30 on Saturday evening the Remuera and Parnell Fire Brigades responded to a call to a motor-garage in Kemuera Road, owned by Mr. G. .T. White. The fusing of an electric cable in Quay Street at 7.15 p.m. on Saturday evening was the cause of an alarm. The brigade's services, however, were not required as the current was cut oil from the power station.
