THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
His .Excellency the Governor-General ((Lord -Jellicoe) laid the foundation stone at Mangere on Saturday in connection with idie King's CoHege memorial chapel, and in the evening he -was present at the Old Boys' dinner et Scots' Hall. Her Excellency will hunt for the last time during her present stay in Aucklaud with the Pakuranga hounds tomorrow. On Wednesday their Excel lencies will ibe present at the community singing gathering in the Town Hall, and will leave Auckland the saime evening. The Governor-General will leave for Wellington, and Lady Jellicoe Tiill proceed to Hastings.
