CONCILIATION COUNCIL
I , FERRY COMPANIES' EMPLOYEES. A sitting of the Conciliation Council was held this morning in connection with the certificated, enginedrivers in the employ of the Devonport ■Steam Ferry Coand the Lake Takapuna Tramways and Ferry Co., Ltd., Mr. T. Harle Giles presiding. The assessors for the companies were the Hon. E. W. Alison, Messrs. Jos. Carrie, and John Kerr; for the union, Messrs. A. Smith, A. Beriz, and O. Thrower. An agreement was arrived at on the majority of the point?, and the terms and conditions will be embodied in an industrial agreement -n-hied will be presented for signature on Tuesday a.fternoon next.
