BAND CONCERTS.
A winter syllabus of band concerts in the publi.- parks was submitted to the City Council last night and approved. It provides for a concert each week in Domain. Albert Pa~rk and Victoria Park up to November 5, making about 80 performances in all. Of these nine concerts have been allotted each to the Artillery, Auckland City, and Temperance trUUrds Bands, seven to the Watersi;lcr»' Band, six to the Ponson'by Boys, and three to the Onehunga Band, while 24 concerts have yet to be allotted.
