TROUBLE IN THE SOUTH. DR. SUN AT CANTON. NEW YORK, May 28. Advices from Poking slate that two itoms of disquieting news have boon received. An nfllcinl dispatch from I'rga states that the Mongolian Government has asked foreign interests to surrender their titles to property and accept instead ownership on HO-year lenses. Foreign dealers in furs, wool, and hides are withdrawing in consequence. A dispatch from Canton states that General Chan ( hiung Minjr hn.s ordered. Dr. Sun Vat Sen to resign the Presidency of the Southern Chinese Republic. At the same time, Dr. Sun Vat Sen hns ordered the bombardment of the arsenal because, lie is not. allowed to enter Canton. The situation is disturbed, and hostilities are. feared. The Tientsin correspondent of the "Chicago Tribune"' states that OeneniT Wu Pei Fu, dictator in Pekinp. has definitely broken with the President, Hsu Chili Chan, and that he is preparing to nttaek General C'hanp: Teo Lin, whose nrroy is entrenched near Shan Hat Kwan, 1.->0 miles oust of Peking.—(A. and X.Z.)
