BOTTOMLEY'S TRIAL.
APPEAL TO THE JURY. LONDON, May 2S. The jury lias retired to consider its verdict at the trial of Horatio Bottomley, M.P.. on charges of fraudulently converting Victory Club Bonds. The accused, in nn impassioned appeal to the jury, declared that it would be the most appalling error of justice that fftie world had ever known if it gave a verdict against him. — (A. and X.Z.)
