COMPENSATION CASE.

WATERSIDES. AWARDED DAMAGES. The <-ase of Henry Wilkinson against i the Union Steamship Company for ; further compensation for injuries sustained by him on June 25, 1921, in an accident on the s.s. Katoa, was concluded on Saturday in the Supreme Court at Wellington before his Honor Sir .Tohn Salmond and a jury of twelve. Not deeming the compensation paid him under the Workmen's Compensation Act, of £2 16/ per week, sufficient, plaintiff had brought this suit atfai:i<r. the company for £928 13/ special and general damages, less £124 7/ already received.
