RAILWAY CROSSING FATALITY.
MAN KILLED AT SOCKBI'RN. (Hj- Teleprnpli—P.ess Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. Ernest Arnold, a single man. aged 02 years, was killed at the Soc-kbuni railway crossing by the South express tonight. Arnold, who suffered severely from rheumatism, was walking across the crossing and evidently failed to see the incoming train. Owing to mist and rain the express vcas 20 minutes late; which probably caused Arnold lo keep .- less rarefill 'watch.
