FIRE IN A GARAGE.
MOTOR TRUCK DAMAGED. The Central Fire Brigade received a call at 3.15 this morning to a building owned by Mr. J. Lovett. at the corner of Collins Street and Rose Road, Grey Lynn, which is used as a stable and a garage. The fire, which occurred in a J Clydesdale motor truck, was discovered :by a milkman who was passing. The , truck was severely damaged before the outbreak was suppressed. There were two trucks in the building, and they were insured in the National Office for £2600. The building was uninsured.
