LUCAS WIN'S CHAMPIONSHIP. (By Teiegrapu. —Press Association.* DUYEDEX, Wednesday. The Australasian droughts tourney was brought to a conclusion to-night. The final round between Borelram »n<l iLucas was well contested, the letter winning the coveted-""honour. Lucas, who is a Dunedin man, hae ; been connected with the game for many years. i-He won the New Zealand championship lin 1903, and was runner-up in the following tournament at Oamaru. Borehani, who is also from Dunedin, is an experienced player, having been New Zealand champion on several'occasions. In 1!>1U lie won the Australasian championship at Brisbane, and it has remained in the Dominion up to the present. 'Flip handicap mutch was won by O. A. Brown.
