TRAIN AND MOTOR.
COLLISION AT CROSSING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WATUATE, Wednesday.
A motor c»r conveying Mr. and Mrs. Mcllwraith-and two children, tqgether With Mr K. McCleay and two children, ran into a train at the railway crossing at "VVaihao Forks to-day. The train struck the motor at a slight angle apd threw it clear, but the car was smashed to matchwood. Mrs. Mcllwraith sustained injuries to h?r epine and head, and was taken tp t:,* hospital. The other occupants were bruised and shaken only.
