FEDERAL FINANCE.
A BUOYANT REVENUE. (Received 10.80 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this da.y. It is anticipated that the Federal Budget, which will be delivered shortly, will eliow a more satisfactory position than was anticipated. The Customs revenue is already in excess of the estimates, and other sources of revenue have also proved elastic. This combined with substantial reductions in expenditure is expected to produce a surplus. (A. and K.Z. Cable.)
