RUGBY FOOTBALL.

A.R.U. EXECUTIVE. At tbe weekly meeting of the A.R.U. executive last night, Mr. n. Webster presiding, the North Shore clnb was granted permission to sentf a team to play Clevedon at Clevedon on Saturday, which day the North Shore senior team has a bye. An application from the Hauraki Plains Union for a visit from an Auckland clnb team was deferred pending an opportunity later in the season to make arrangements for snch a match.
