CAMBRIDGE, Saturday.
As yesterday was a wet miserable day play was practically abandoned, nlthou.ii several sections tied were played off The tournament was resumed to _ay iv line wentner. Mr. Ferguson, a member of the Kclburne Club, Wellington, winning the final of the championship singles and Mrs Coweil. of Onehunga Club, being runnerup. Results are:—
Semi-finals.—Mrs. Coweil 26. v .Mrs Evltt 25; Mrs. Richardsou 20. v \f r _' Richardson 17.
Finals (best 2 out of 3)— Mrs. Coweil 26 v. Mrs. Feygusou 23; Mrs. Ferguson 26 v' Mrs. Coweil 25; Mrs. Ferguson 26, v Mrs Coweil 24.
