EASTER TOURNAMENT FINAL. The dual of! ihp Easter bowling tournament was played al the <'urllou green on Saiurdav afternoon between .1. .lury. '"• Hummer. McLaren. K. Jury (skip), aud Parker, Kellv. Pelham. Maxwell Walker (sklpi. ilie former winning by 20 points to 18. The first head was wou by Waiker by a point, due to a tine draw by Parker, bis lead. Jury was lying two nt the second when the skips went back, and Walker irled hard lo draw the shot, but only succeeded in gaining second position. Jury thus equalising the scores. Jury took the ihlnl head by a similar margin, and after the fourth bad been burned Kuumier got a wick off one of Parker's bowls, which hitherto lav- shot, and took position. The skips failed to alter the head. Jury 3, Walker J. The leads were a trifle short at the fifth, but Kelly knocked tip one of Parker's howls, which made Walker 2. Pelham added another. Jury failed with both his shots, and Walker took -the lead. 4—Jt. Walker was again three to the good when the skips commenced at the sixth, but a fine draw by Jury with his lust bowl gnve him the head, aud equalised the scores. The seventh saw Jury lying four when ibe seconds had finished, but Pelham cut oui two with a drive. Jury then drew shoi with a "toucher."' and the bead finished three iv his favour. From this out he was always in front. The tenth bead saw him add three to his total, due largely to the excellent bowling of I_immer. which made lilm 11 points to 5. Walker picked up two at Cue eleventh, while Jury added a similar number at tbe twelfth, aud also at the thirteenth head. The fourteenth went to Jury by one, and Walker made up two at the fifteenth. Walker was lying three til the sixteenth till McLaren, Jury's third man. drew the shot with his last bowl. Walker drove, but Jury was still one up when the skips fiuisbed. Jury 17. Walker 9.
