The Kaitoke Bails at 5 p.m. for Sydney. The Navua 1b due from Suva at 6 a.m. to-morrow. The schooner Elsie Mary Is discharging at the Central wharf. The schooner Abemama is expected to sail ' for Grafton, New South Wales, direct on Thursday, in ballast. The auxiliary schooner Houto goes on the slipway this afternoon and comes off again to-morrow morning. She is expected to sail for Tauranga on Wednesday night. The Huanul after discharging lime apd cement at Tologa Bay, proceeds to Gisborne to discharge her benzine cargo. From Gisborne she is expected to come to Auckland. To discharge timber and general cargo from Gisborne the three-master schoonec Maroro berthed at the King's wharf on Saturday. After discharge she loads coal for Gisborne. XGATIAWA WEATHERBOUXD. Onr Opotiki correspondent wires that the Xgatlawa was still weatherbound In the river this morning, hut may get away today for Auckland. THE MANUKA. The Manuka is due in port from Sydney at 4 p.m. to-day with 151 passengers and general cargo. She will anchor in the stream for medical and Customs inspection and berth about one and n-half hours later at the eastern side of the Queen's wharf. She will make her departure for Sydney at 11 v.m. on Thursday next. CANADIAN GOVERNMENT STEAMERS. The Canadian Transporter, which sailed from Vancouver on April 15, has cargo for Auckland, Wellington, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

The Canadian Scottish sailed to-day for Sydney to continue discharge of her cargo from Vancouver. The Canadian Seigneur, from the Atlanticports of America, has cargo for Auckland, Wellington and Australian ports.

NIAGARA IN PORT. The Union Company's KrM.s. Niagara. 13,415 tons (Capt. J. T. Rolls), arrived this morning from riydney with 000 passengers, S3 flrst saloon. 4S second saloon, and 3 steerage passengers tor Auckland, and 153 nrst saloon, 108 second saloon, and 10j steerage through passengers for "Vancouver, included in the steerage being 24 Chinamen. The Niagara berthed at the Central wharf, and is announced to continue her voyage nt 10 a.m. to-morrow. She left Sydney at noon on April 20, and after Inspection at Watson's 'Bay, got clear of the Heads at 2 -p.m. Good weather prevailed for the flrst day, but on the second day the steamer ran Into a moderate south-west wind, with a heavy swell, causing the steamer to roll considerably. All the hold luggage must be alongside the steamer this evening, as no work will be done on the wharves tomorrow.

THE 'PORT PIRIE. The Commonwealth and Dominion liner Port Plrie, 10,780 tons cCapt. W. S. Mason, D.S.C.), arrived at Anckland on Saturday afternoon from Liverpool, and berthed at the Queen's wharf to discharge 1200 tons of general cargo. She is expected to proceed early on Thursday morning to Wellington and Southern ports, where she will discharge the remaining 2300 tons of her cargo. The cargo was loaded at Glasgow and Liverpool, the -steamer clearing from the latter port on March " 15. Moderate easterly winds prevailed- on the Atlantic, the passage to Panama being made at the good speed of 13.5 knots an hoar. A stop was made for one day to take in fresh water and allow a passenger to come aboard. Slight south-east trade winds and den weather were experienced in the Pacific until April 15, after which strong westerlies were blowing until reaching port. On Frl'dny the wind was about 40 miles an hour In force, and was accompanied -by heavy rain .squalls. Five passengers arrived by the steamer. Their names are: Mrs. Stewart Hardie and infant. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Denniston, Mr. and Mrs. E. Dale.
