ACCIDENTS AT ELLERSLIE.
During the Tunning of the Brighton Hurdle Race at Ellerslie. on Saturday, Blue Cross fell, bringing down Te Eohae McMillan, the rider of Blue Cross, was severely bruised, aad Mulvihill, rider ot Te Rohae, had his shin badly bruised. A man named William Xye, of Paget Street. Ponsonby, was getting over the fence by the Leger Stand and fell, dislocating hi*? elbow.
