'•MERRIE ENGLAND." Another crowded audience was delighted on Saturday night with the performance by the Williamson Comic Opera Companr of tbe romantic plaj-. "Merrie England"; at His Majesty's Theatre. Both principals and chorus were quickly on cordial terms with the front of the house, and the freshnpss and quaint charm of the whole piece, alike in the singing, acting, and dancing made a vivid appeal to the readily responsive audience. "Morrie England" will continue at His Majesty's until Thursday. BROADWAY THEATRE. "A Ttfp to Mars." the first release shown on Friday last, is indeed a unique and beautiful production, and so many inquiries and requests have been made for an extended season that the niriiiuirement have wisely decided to screen this super-feature asain to-night and to-morrow night, in addition to "Common Sense." This excellent combination will leave nothing to be desired for an evening's entertainment. RUSH-MUXRO'S CABARET. The Easter carnival of Rush-Munro"s cabaret Is being held at the Scots' Hall. Mennie's Buildings, top of Symonds Street. The carnival continues for three nights. the first having been largely attended on Saturday evening, when the pupils of Miss Daphne Knight inaugurated the programme with an excellent series of Spanish dances. The numbers by these young dancers were very highly appreciated by a numerous company of patrons, and after the demonstration the magnificent new floor was put to uee for the first time. To-night a souvenir dance will be held, and to-morrow evening, which will be tbe conclusion of the carnival, there will be a plain and fancy dress masquerade. 10,000 MILES THROUGH THE ISLANDS. On ite annual trip through the South Pacific Islands the S.T. Southern Cross calls *t no less than 400 different places. and a film record of the many interesting incldentH that occur upon the** beautiful Islands will be ecreened at the Town Hall on Uednesdny.
