I BACK TO 4 PER CENT. I LONDON, April 14. The Court of Directors of the Bank of England has reduc.-d the minimum rate of discount from 41 per cent, at. which it has stood since February 10. at 4 per j cent.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.) The bank rale has fallen rapidly sincn i April of last year, when it was reduced j from the 7 per cent, at which it had stood 'since the preceding April, to fi". per cent. ■In June and July, it went down a half ■ j>er cent, and in November to 5 per cent.
