S.M, at. the Police Court. C. L. Welch (Mr; Cahill) sued G. H. Goodhall (Mr. .1. J. Sullivan) to recover £100 alleged to be due on a promissory note, with £1 8/6 interest. A counter-claim was entered for £149 7/6 for tools and chattels belonging to defendant, alleged to be in plaintiff's possession. Sir. Poynton gave judgment for plaintiff for £101 6/S, with costs. Defendant was nonsuited on the counter-claim, ■ without costs. v
