The Yoshida Maru sailed to-day for Wellington, en route to Australia. The Katoa sailed* on Saturday evening for Wellington and Southern ports. The Kurow leaves Wellington to-day for Auckland, where she is due on Wednesday night. With cargo from New Zealand the Westmoreland arrived at London on Thursday last. The Llhdstol, which had been at anchor outside the beacon, got under way this morning with an easterly wind to proceed to Dargayille. The Wingatui left Oamarn at 11 p.m. on, Friday for Auckland, via Tunaru, Lyttelton, Napier and Gisborne. The Melanesian Mission steamer Southern Cross has commenced loading stores at the Western wharf for the Islands. En route from St. John's to New Zealand poits the Piako left Newport News on Wednesday, and Is due at Auckland on May 5. The Arahura arrived yesterday evening frami ■Napier and Gisborne and berthed at the King's wharf. She sails again ».c 8 o'clock this evening. The Haln steamer Trematon arrived at Wellington on Friday from Wales, with about 6000 tons of coal for discharge for the Union Company. ULIMAROA LEFT SYDNEY. The Huddart-Parker Co. advise that their steamer UUmaroa left Sydney oh Saturday morning for Auckland A-lth 242 passengers and general cargo. She Is due here about noon on Wednesday and sails again on Thursday at 5 p.m. BULK PAPER FOR AUCKLAND. The Swedish steamer Lyngern (4966 ton?) is due at Auckland on April 17th from Hamburg, via Java and Sydney. She is bringing bulk paper for discharge at this port. OPIHI FROM LYTTELTON. Messrs. A. G. Frankham. Ltd., advise that the steamer Oplhi, with timber from Port Craig and produce from Lyttelton, is due at Auckland to-morrow night. After discharge she retnrns to Lyttelton, taking cargo. TAINUI IN PORT. The Tainui arrived early this morning from Wellington and berthed at tbe Queen's wharf to discharge a large cargo from London. She? is also to load a large quantity of Homeward freight, and is to leave here about Saturday for Lyttelton.. From the South she returns to Wellington'early in May and snils finally from there for Southampton ou May 9. EASTERNER FROM NEW YORK. Messrs. Dalgety, Ltd. advise that they have received a radio message from the Easterner, en route from New York, to tbe effect that the steamer is expected to arrive at Auckland on April il). She will discharge case oil and. general cargo at this port and then proceed to Australian ports. The radio was received through the steamer Cape May, which is en route from Australia to Boston and New York. THE TEKOA'S CARGO. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Tekoa. which left Liverpool on March 25, on her maiden voyage, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dnnediu, has cargo to be distributed iv the following quantities:—Auckland, 2092 tons: Wellington, 1800 tons; Lyttelton. 1000 tons; Dunedin, 080 tons. The steamer is due here on May Sth, and after discharging her inward freight, will load in the Dominion for West Coast ports of Great Britain. CANADIAN GOVERNMENT STEAMERS. The local office of the Canadian Government Mercantile Marine advises the following movements of steamers : — The Canadian Victor, which left Wellington at 12.30 p.m. oh Saturday, is due this evening to complete cargo for New York, Boston and Halifax. She will clear oh Wednesday. The Canadian Scottish, from Vancouver, reaches Lyttelton to-morrow night, and after discharging the portion of her cargo for that port, she should reach Auckland on April 21, and will proceed from here to Australian ports. „The Canadian Seigneur left Halifax on tho Sth inst. for N* BW York, thence to New Zealand and Australian ports The Canadian Transporter is expected to leave Vancouver on the 13th Inst, for AuckUnqL

KAITOKE LEFT LAUTOKA. According to advices from the Union Company the Kaitokc is expected to leave Lautoka to-morrow afternoon for Auckland. fc_ should arrive her next Monday. CORNWALL FROM HOME. The Federal steamer Cornwall (10,669 tons), Captain 11. W. llobenson, arrived from Liverpool yesterday and berthed at the Queen's wharf. She brought five passengers for Australia, Mr. and Mrs. F. Woodcock and their daughter and two sons; and has 6500 tons of cargo which will be discharged as follows:—Auckland, 1700 tons; Wellingion. 2000 tons: Lyttelton, 1600 tons', Dunedin. 1400 tons. Galvanised iron was loaded at Avonmouth, locomotives, heavy machinery and whisky at 'Glasgow, and salt, basic s:ag and special lines at Liverpool. The steamer cleared from this port on February 20, and> Aye days out ran into a strong gale from the west and south-west, which lasted for about six days. Arriving at Colon the steamer stopped to trke aboard her five passengers, but no coal was taken In the bunkers, as tho steamer had 6000 tons when clearing Newcastle, and 2400 tons of this Is still remaining. Good weather was experienced on the Pacific, but on the 4th and 3th lust, heavy rain was experienced.
