JUNIOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.

A YEAR'S WORK. ] The Junior Management Committee of tte Auckland Kupby League held, their annual meeting last evening, Mr. T. Fielding presditiir over a very fair attendance. The report for the year showed a very satisfactory state or affairs. The scheme of the committee solely controlling all junior matches worked but it was suggested that the powers of rhp committee could be more binding. The Ground Committee was eulogised for its good work during the year. Absence of rough play was a feuture of V.-.p games, and tl'e standard was particularly good. As the question of playing was causing some anxiety members were urged to watch tlie opportunity of securing nny playing aren in and around tne suburbs. The election of officers resulted as follows: Chairman and delegate to Auckland Rugby league. Mr. A. Freeman: vice-chairman. Mr. H. Frost: lion, secretary anil treasurer. Mr. W. J. Davidson (re-elected): Ground Committee, Messrs. Lusty. Strong and B*ske t. A recommendation from the outwiinn committee that the weight for players in the fourth grade be reduce,! to list 71b was adopted, and Messrs. Bond. Dowle. Adamson. Binns, Te Mate. Seagar. Baskett. mid Lipplatt were appointed a weighing committee. The step was taken owing to too many good players weighing about 10 stone playing season after season in the one grade. A discussion which arose on the question or insurance of players was adjourned unt'l after the next meeting of the Auckland Rugby League. The Auckland Hnsby League notified acceptance of the application of a new club called the Central Siancere Club. which was entering a team in the second grade.
