OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL.

The monthly meeting of th-- Otamatea County Council was held on the 23rd iust.. Mr. Rodney I'oales in the chair. County Bridge Scheme.-- The county bridge scheme was again considered, the proposal seing ro strbmlt to the ratepayers a special rate of id in the £. which, based on the preseut ratable property, would provide interest on a loan of £-$.000. This would claim a £1 for £1 subsidy from The Government, and would provide £56.000, to be called up as required.
