NEW WOOL RATES. HIGH CHARGES TOR TOPS. lUeceived io.:;n a.m.) WASHINGTON, March 24. The Senate Finance Committee agreed to the avool schedule of the Permanent Tariff Bill. The 35 per cent ad valorem limitation is cancelled, and the 2f> cent clean content rate is increased to 33 cents a pound. Wool Avhich has been advanced in any manner or by any process of manufacture beyond Avasmetl or scoured condition, and is valued at not more than :10 cents a pound, is to pay 21 cents specific or 25 cents ad valorem. Worn valued at over 30 cents a pound is to pay 3U cents specific or 2."> per cent ad valorem.— lA. and X.Z. Cable.)
