Many matters were discussed affecting the future policy of the League. The ambulance room and Junior dressing rooms will be under the modatlng practically moo persons, while the new tearoom will have a counter, seats right round, ami a long shutter winduw opening outside. The chairman stated that the bank balance at the beginning of this month was £289, to which was added £lt)O received, but payments due for groumi rent, insurance premiums, and various moneys due would use up practically all this money, ii. was decided f> liold the annual meeting nf the Auckland League in the nrst week of April, and to instruct all clllbs that their annual meetings must be held not later than March .'!. Considerable time was spent in discussing a matter brought up by Mr. T. Fellding. concerning junior .-nps. and it was variously arimed that junior players should have, something to play for tv keep their enthusiasm for the game, as they would be the seniors of to-morrow; that the provide sets of caps; that it was better to send the Junior? away on trips, as liar! been were necessary to improve their ground and its appointments. It was then suggested that one or two people had promised sets of caps, and the meeting decided to accept the offers of these donors, and thus. If possible, provide caps without crippling their own finances, which were weak at present. The discussion went further than this, being made more general when the chairman brought up the past policy of the League, and it was eventually decided that the present policy of the League be adhered to. Mr. Feilding voted against this, because he considered that the League should provide caps for the juniors. A new system of players' tickets was discussed and explained, the object being to prevent misuse of the passes, and to make the various clubs directly responsible to the League for their proper use. The matter was deferred till the next meeting, which, will be held in a fortnight's time.
