AQUATICS.

SWIMMING. The Auckland Centre of tbe New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association met last evening, Mr. A. J. Fernandez presiding. It was decided to arrange for an official welcome to be extended by Auckland swimmers to >_Jss Annette Keilerman on Monday. Permits were granted to the Mount Eden dub to hold a carnival on January 23, and to the Auckland Regatta Committee to run a number of swimming events on Anniversary Pay. It was decided to conduct tests at the ! Parnell 'Baths In connection with the N.Z. championships, to be held at - Wellington next month. The following swimmers were selected for the tests: 100 yds senior. Smith, Enwright, Murrel, Champion; 100 yds Intermediate (ladles), Misses P. Page, Y. Walrond, E. Walrond; 100 yds Intermediate (hoys). Cunnold, /Bradley, Fairgray; 440 yds (ladles), Misses P. Hoeft and V. Walrond; 100 yds and 80yds (girls). Misses M. B_ruuhar and R. Fernandea. Any other swimmers wishing to compete are eligible to do so. PAITNE-- SWIMMING CLDB. The Parnell -Swimming Club will hold its second carnival In the Tepid Baths on Tuesday evening.
