VERBRUGGHEN ORCHESTRA.
THE AUCKLAND SEASON. Messrs. J. and N. Tait announce the second visit of the famous Verbruggheu Orchestra from the N.S.W. State ConservatoriUm of Music to New" Zealand. The New Zealand tour will commence with a big musical festival in the Auckland Town Hull on Monday, January 2, lasting for seven nights, during whicli time seven different programmes will ho presented, comprising the orchestra's, most famous numbers from their extensive repertoire, most of which have not been previously played by them her-s. In addition to the orchestra of 80 performers, there will be several soloists. ' •M. Henri Verbruggheu will be the con- i ductor throughout the tour. With regard to the financial arrangements of the tour, the risk is being borne by the N.S.W. State Orchestra C.uarantec Fund Co.. Ltd., a non-profit organisation founded by citizens of Australia to keep the orchestra going for three years. Messrs. J. and N. Tait. who have no financial interest in the tour, have been engaged to manage the tour throughout New Zealand, also the orchestra's business in Australia. Reason tickets an; being issued for the whole of the Auckland season at an extremely low rate. Eac hholdcr of these tickets is entitled to reserve one seat for each concert, and also has priority of booking over ordinary booking. These tickets can be purchased at Lewis R. Eady and .Son, Ltd. The plans are now open for the whole season for season ticket holders only. The plans will be opened for ordinary booking on Wednesday next at Lewis R. Eady aud Son, Ltd.
