The Kaiwarra sails at noon on Friday for Newcastle. :The Waitemata was expected to leave Newcastle at noon yesterday for Auckland. • The Wingatui left Oamaru at 11 p.m. on Tuesday for Timaru, Lyttelton and Auckland. T bo Karma or another steamer is expected to leave Dunedin about January 5 for Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. The Kamo leaves Onehunga at daylight to-morrow for New Plymouth and Wellington, where she pays off. The Pacific Cable Board's steamer Iris, after completing repairs to the Wanganui\vakapuaka cable, left Wanganui at 0.40 nm yesterday for Auckland. The Ulimaroa berthed at the King's wharf at 0.40 p.m. yesterday to discharge her cargo, including 180 cases and 288 bags of sugar, 1200 packages tea, 378 bars lead, 1320 bags wax, 515 sacks bonednst, 374 cases and 20 barrels oil, St drums of copper and other small items, besides transhipments from the Omar, Mamari. Otarama, West Mahwah and others. She is announced to sail for Sydney at noon 'to-morrow with passengers and general cargo. OMASA DUE TO-MOBKOW. The Omana, en route from Newcastle to Auckland with cargo, left Kaipara yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, and is due here tomorrow. She will berth at the eastern side of the King's wharf. SOUTHERN CROSS TO LAY UP. The Melanesian Mission steam yacht Southern Cross will go to an anchorage in the stream at 9 a.m. to-morrow to Jay up during the hurricane season. She will not commence her next island tour until late in the summer. SHAW-SAVILL STEAMERS. The following movements of Shaw-Savill and Albion steamers have been announced.— On Tuesday next the Mahana is due at Auckland from Liverpool. It Is expected that she will load here after discharge foi London, and will then sail for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. Her departure foi London from Wellington is announced foi February 1. ' With cargo for Wellington and Auckland the Arawa left Balboa on December 18, and ii fine at Wellington on January 10. She wil discharge and load here, and also lead at Gisborne, for Southampton and London.
