THREATS OF OUTRAGE. WAIL STREET PATROLLED. NEW YORK, December 20. Xcw York City is suffering from a bad attack of nerve.*. The news of the arrest in Warsaw of a man who knows the details of'the Wall Street explosion last ■•ear resulted in the financial districtbeing deluged with threats to repeat the outrage. Hundreds of police and detectives are patrolling the area. Nearly a panic was caused \rhcn an innocent wagon stopped before the I Sub-Treasury to-day and the driver ; attempted to deliver a legitimate package. Police and detectives swooped down upon him. and a vast crowd formed It was feared that he was another bomber. Newspapers are publishing scare headlines, and the populace eeems to be aroused to the danger of a recurrence of the Wall Street outrage.—(A. and N.Z.)
