DRASTIC RECONSTRUCTION. I Received 10.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. It is expected that Mr. Hughes will announce drastic changes in the reconstruction of the Ministry to-day. It ia stated that Mr. S. M. Bruce will replace Mr. A. Poynton as Minister for Homo and Territories, while Mr. H. Lamorni will succeed Sir Joseph Cook as Treasurer. It is also thought that Mr. \V. H. Laird Smith, Minister for the Navy, will retire owing to the amalgamation of the navy and defence department?. — (A. and y.Z. Cable.)
