AUCKLAND SCOUT OFFICERS.
FIRST ANNUAL DIXXEB. Tile Officers of the Auckland Central TroTince Of the Dominion Boy Scout Association held their first annual dinner on Monday evening at the Tiffin. There was a good attendance of officers, anu a most enjoyable evening wae spent. Mr. A. ,r. Gaily, late cubmaster of the 20th Fulhani Wolf Cub I'ack, of London, occupied the chair. The various speakers during the evening spoke with enthusiasm of the work of the movement among boys, and emphasised • the progress made in Auckland during the last six months. There was a long toast list, among the toasts honoured I were "The King," "The Chief Scnuf (Sir I K. S. Baden-Powell), 'Scout Movement and - Officers, including the Dominion Chief Scout, Lord -lelllcoe," and "The Press," to i whom the movement both locally and : throughout the workl owes a debt of grati- ! tude for the publicity they have given to the I work of the Boy Scouts.
