Dr. and Afrs. Beveridge returned to Hamilton from the city to-day. Sir Joseph and La<Sy Ward arrived in Christchurcli from Wellington on Saturday. Mr. K. S. Williams, Napier, who has 'been in t-hc city for several days, left for home to-day. Mr. T. D. Gillies, Public Works and Harbour Emrineer, of Greymouth, accompanied by ilrs. Gillies and daughter, are on a visit to Auckland. The Hon. Lucy Jellicoe and Sir Francis BeH's party, including Mise I5eH- Mra. Johnston, and llrs. Coates, left Auckland for Helensville to-day. Mr. G. H. Ldghtfoot, officer in charge of the local branch of the Labour Department, has returned from Hetensville, much ■benefited by bis stay in tbe thermal district.
