MOEREWA FREEZING WORKS
TO BE OPENED THURSDAY. The new freezing works of the Auckland Farmers' Freezing Co. at Moewwa is to be opened for business on Thursday next. The works have a killing capacity of -2,000 sheep and 200 cattle, and a storage capacity of 100,000 carcases. Buildinp operations in connection ■with the works were commenced about two years ago. and it was inraided to open them last year, but owing; to Labour troubles at Home inWlorihg with the transport of material tor the works, this could not be accomplished.
