TEACHERS RESIGNING. A number of resignations from masters of the Auckland Grammar School and of mistresses of the girls' schools under the control of the Grammar .School Board of Governors were received at yesterday's meeting.

The board regretted the npcessitv of accepting the resignation of the Rev. J. King Davie who had held the position of commercial and history master fT some time. During this year Mr. Davis' health had koen failing, and h? was unable to continue his duties.
