INDIAN UNREST'
CAMPAIGN OF EXTREMISTS.
DEVELOPMENTS POSSIBLE. (By Cable.-Press Association.—Coflyrtgtot.) LONDON, November 23. Authoritative cablegrams from India pay high tributes to the personal triumph of the Prince of Wales, but point out that the intense extremist campaign may result in serious developments, particularly in Sind, where the municipalities view the Khilafat agitation gravely.
It is feared that Moslem feeling may become incapable of restraint unless assurances are quickly forthcoming regarding Britain's attitude toward Turkey.
It is reported that Sikh agitation in Punjab has partially affected the Sepoys and police, who may resign in appreciable numbers. The Karachi municipality has postponed the voting of funds for celebrations on the occasion of the Prince's visit. —(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
