LONDON WOOL SALE.

NO AMERICAN BUYERS. LONDON, November 23. At the wool sales to-day 12,040 bales of free and Bawra wools, of which 4,895 were Australian, 4,410 New Zealand, and 3.282 South America*, were offered. The selection was barely equal to the average. The attendance was good, but the tone was distinctly quieter, emphasising the weakness already exhibited at Hull and Liverpool, compared with the October closing rates. Yorkshire buyers were the principal operators. Prance and Germany gave some support, but America did nothing. Now Zealand Kaputone clip realised 1/7! top price, and 1/3 average.— (A. and"N.Z. Cable.)

THE SYDNEY SALES.

SYDNEY, November 23. The demand for good fine wools continues strong at full rates. Burry and inferior sorts showed an easing tendency to-day, and declined 5 to 74 per cent on the closing rates of the last'series. — (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
