THE OFFICIAL OPEXIXG. (By Telegraph.—Press AsaOfisrron.l DARGAVILLE. this far. Lord and Lady Jellicoo and party and Sir Francis Bell and party arrive here on Tuesday ~nd Wednesday. His Excellency will officially open Trounson Kauri Park, purchased by the Government as a national park. A meeting of citizens last night, presided over by the Mayor (Mr. Horublow), decided to'liold a big conversazione on Tuesday night, and present an address of welcome. Children, returned soldiers, and citzens, accompanied by a band, will welcome their Excellencies at the wharf.. The park cost the Government £30,000. The visitors leave for Auckland on Thursday morning.
