Bates, Dominion Meteorologist, for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day is as follows: — The indications are for variable and strong breezes, but southerly winds, moderate to strong, and veering by south to west. Weather cloudy to overcast at times, with scattered showers. Barometer unsteady. Seas rough. Tides good.
