OFFICIAL RECOGNITION. (Bi. Telegraph.—Press Association.) . WELLINGTON, Wednesday. A complete understanding has been arrived at between the PostmasterGeneral.. and the Post and Telegraph Association on the question of toe recognition of the association. Mr. Combs, secretary of the association, eteted that the Executive Committee of the association "was well satisfied with the result of the conference. From the service ..point of view the new understanding -was considered very satisfactory. - . The,staff employed has now the assurance that no drastic alterations in salaries or service conditions will take pl«e -without the staff having the fulieit opportunity of considering them and B&king'such representations thereon as appear necessary.
