OOXFEREXCE OF CHAIRMEN. (By Telegraph. — Tress Association.) CKRISTOHUBCH, Tuesday. At a meeting of the Management Committee of t)ie Canterbury Kugby Union to-night, the letter of Mr. McLeod, president of the New Zealand Rugby Union relative to the future government of the

Rugby game, was considered, and the following resolution was carried unanimously:—"That the Canterbury Union agree with the principal of Mr. MeLeod's letter, and considers some alteration in the form of the governing body is necessary, and the exact form of such alterations would be ibetter arrived at by a conference of chairmen of the various unions." The chairman (Mr. S. F. Wilson) said that he thought Mr. McLeod was to be congratulated on the stand he had taken. (Hear, hear).
