A letter i containing valuable information for tlie benefit of relatives of dead soldiers whose bodies are iburied in France was read at a meeting of the exeeu-tik-e df the Returned Soldiers' Assoctiation last evening. The letter was as follows:—"For the benefit of anyone wishing to visit the grave of a deceased relative in France, \ can state from my own experience that it was made very easy with the combined aid of the H'igb. Commissiioner'e office and the St. Barnaibas' Hostel. At the High Commissione-re office, the secretary gets the passport vised, he also writes to St. Barnaibas' Hostel, who reply direct to the visitors advlising them whicih route to travel. On arrival in France the visitors atfc met by a representative of the Hostel, who gives them all the infoTmation required, and sees them on the train for whiehc\er area they wish to visit. Another representative meets the train on arilival at its destination, and escorts the visitors to the nearest hoetel. ' The journey to the cemetery is made by motor car, arrangements with the car serviice company being made by the authorities. Visitors ehooild obtain full particulars as to cemeteries and number of gra.ve, etc., from the Imperial War Graves Commission, 82,. BaJcer 'Street, London, prior to departure. The hostels are managed by ladies of independent means, and their wor.k in this direction cannot be too highly praised. The hostel charges are very reasonable, about 7/6 a day, and tlie return trip from London (minimum three days) could probably be done for aibout £10."
