PETITIONS FOR DIVORCE.

TWO DECREES GRANTED.

Two undefended petitions for divorce came before Mr. Justice Adams at the Supreme Court yesterday.

A decree nrsi was granted to Andrew ißoy (Mr. R. A. Singer) who sought a dissolution of his marriage from Elizabeth Roy on the ground of her misconduct, with Hugh McLaughlan. The marriage took place in 1913 in Scotland. the parties afterwards living in Auckland. There were no children. Petitioner had frequently to be absent from home, and on one occasion when he returned he found the co-respondent living in the house apparently an a boarder. Subsequently on returning from the Islands the petitioner found the respondent and the co-respondent again together, and lie believed they were now living as man and wife.

A decree was granted to Charlotte L. Lu«combe (Mr. Singer) on the ground of Alfred Albert Luscombe's misconduct. The marriage took place in 1011 and the parties lived at FMrkenhead and e!*ewhere. The respondent had i>ot maintained his wife for five years, and in 1920, when he returned from a trip to England, ho admitted tie had brought out a girl and had been guilty of misconduct with her.
