ACCLIMATISATION.
WAIKATO BREAKS AWAY. (FSy Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON*, this day. A meeting of the newly formed Waikato Acclimatisation Society was laet night addressed by Mr. H. H. O^..er. vice-president of the Auckland Society, who tried to induce the local body to reconsider its decision to cut adrift from Auckland.. It was decided to act on the recommendation of the previous conference to link up with Ohinemuri, and to ask Ohinemuri to agree to a conference of the Auckland, Ohinemuri, and Waikato delegates to further discuss the proposal.
